Action Alert: Tell Gov. Walz it's time to consider climate [CLOSED]

On September 15th, the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board must vote on how quickly (or slowly) it plans to move on climate change.

The board oversees the environmental review process for public and private projects that have the potential to significantly affect the environment. It recently recommended that climate change-related impacts be included in the environmental review process for proposed development projects throughout Minnesota.

Tell the Environmental Quality Board and Gov. Walz we can't wait to consider climate change. We need to either immediately approve the earliest implementations of new forms or improve the proposed pilot program currently under construction to get us to full implementation as quickly as possible. Climate change is too important — impacting the health of the Mississippi River, our metro riverfront communities and communities around the world — to wait.
